Account Management

After you set up your account, you can not change the login name. However, you can change the user name, password or account type anytime you like.

PI and Technician can access the account information of all users. That means they can reset the password of each account.

If you forget your password for log-in, ask technician or PI to reset it.

PI can expand or restrict the authority of other accounts in the "People" window:

When a person leaves the lab, enter the "leave date" instead of deleting the account.

If the account is deleted, all the data associated with the account will become unsearchable!
